    they seriously need to do something about tackles like the one by beto on messi in injury time…he should have gotten a straight red at least. if you watch all of barca’s games, there’s at least one of those type of fouls every game against Messi. and never a red card. the refs need to protect the players more, this is getting ridiculous.

    much i know abt football i have learned from him, this guy has some massive ball controll and super agility.and at the end when he got tackled i think he wanted to do the very same thing he did Getafe coz he came from the centre line and nearly finished them. really wonder how he does all that

    i think fouling is the only way you can stop him. Messi is scary good for a 21 year old, he is miles ahead of any other attacker in the world right now. Number 1.

    Look at the close control towards the end, players are sliding in from everywhere and they cant dispossess him.

    It was a horrible tackle – studs up and if Beto made any contact with Messi’s legs – it could have ended his career.

    RED CARD + BAN FOR 6 Months/1 Year – IMO – honestly, FIFA needs to discourage such wanton recklessness with bans. Red cards aren’t slowing these fools down.

    nr1.. the faul from Beto was brutal and totaly unnecessary, clearly just a tackle of frustration, because he couldnt stop him and Recre had allready lost… No doubt about it Red card he deserved! Messi=NR 1

    At 6:21 he gets fouled but even then he does not lose the ball. What the hell is wrong with this guy? And how does he have 4+ defenders on top of him yet he still makes it past them?

    And Messinumber1, I definitely agree with you. That deserved a red. The player was not going for the ball, that tackle was meant to break Messi in half.

    I also agree that Messi is #1 :)
