After failing to secure their place in South Africa two years ago until the last match, the road to Brazil 2014 should be smoother for the Argentinians as the hosts qualify automatically and the region retains an additional four spots, plus one play-off place. But Barcelona star Messi does not want anybody to relax. He said: “We have to win every match at home. The qualifiers here are always very tough, and beginning against Chile will be very hard as well.” Following the 2010 World Cup disappointment, Sergio Batista replaced Diego Maradona as coach, but he did not last long and two months ago Alejandro Sabella took control of the team. Messi said: “We start from scratch again; this team needs a lot of work yet. We have to take advantage of every minute we have together.” Having been named captain by Sabella, the fans will be hoping Messi, who has never been able to replicate his form for Barcelona at international level, can hit new heights. “One player can’t win a match,” he said. “That never happens, anywhere …

@conmuchooojo I think the one here who has an inferior complex is you who keeps trying to justify everything with race for one im not even indeginous im european both parents from the province of Milan and was born in Mexico and just stating the facts you on the other hand are a wannabe european of a superior race yet you have nothing to show for it your country is a third world shithole which would explain why your in U.S..like i said before you got no arguments to back up your claims..
arriba Argentina!!!!!!
Why are people constantly arguing who’s the better player? Messi and Ronaldo are obviously different types of player and without their team mate around them, they are nothing. I repeat, NOTHING! Football is a team game, if you throw ronaldo or messi into a lower league team I am pretty sure non of them can perform like how they did when they are at their respective club. Both are arguably the two best/top players in the world and the style of football their team play is totally different.
@Cuauhtli47 not an opinion. its a fact
